Due to weather, 4 games this week, and being banged up-practice is canceled for today.  We have our last game of the season at home this Friday.  Players are wearing their jerseys with jeans instead of wearing a tie to school tomorrow. 

  We will be meeting at Buffalo Wild Wings on Tuesday, Nov. 1st from 4:30 to 6:30.  Please feel free to bring along any family members that would like to attend.  We will just be hanging out and eating some wings, so come along!

The make up date will be this Friday, Oct. 21st at 4:45 here at Marsteller.

  Parents-Please check the new schedule.  We have had some changes in our schedule.  We are playing at Patriot High School on Monday Oct. 17th at 6:00 p.m.  There is also a change from Oct. 21st to Oct. 28.  The new schedule attached in the files down below.  Players will be getting their own copy of the schedule tomorrow during practice. 

  All players should be ready for practice tomorrow. 

  The Manassas Park game from Wednesday Oct. 12th will be made up Oct. 25th.  We will play at MMS at 4:45.

  Our game today is canceled.  There is no make up date set as of now.
Players still need to stay after school for team pictures.  If you can pick your player up at 4 o'clock, we should be done by then.  We will not have practice today. 

  With the chance of rain tomorrow and our game being canceled, players will still have to stay after school tomorrow because we have team pictures.  If it does rain and the game is canceled, parents may pick up players earlier tomorrow.  Hopefully pictures will be done by 4, so rides can be here earlier if a parent can pick up their player.  The activity bus is still an option if your player needs it. 

  This game is canceled for today.  The make up date will be this Thursday Oct. 6.  We are AWAY at Bull Run for this game.

  Please see the attachment below for the new schdule (Marsteller Boys Soccer Schedule 2011).  Your player should bring home a hard copy of this. 

  The make up date for this game will be Oct. 21.  If Patriot highschool gets their nets in time, we will play this game on Nov. 2 at 6:00 under the lights at Patriot highschool's field.  As soon as I get confirmation of this date, I will let the team and parents know. 

  The game today (Wedneday Sept. 28) is canceled.  The make up date has not been determined yet.  As soon as the date has been determined, I will be sure to let parents and players know. 
  We will still have a light practice today after school.

  Practice is canceled for Friday Sept. 23.  Players should rememeber that we have a game on Monday away at Manassas Park (this game is at Manassas Park High School).  All players need to wear a tie and nice pants on Monday during school. 

  This year a new rule is in effect: all players must be picked up by their parent.  They are not allowed to ride home with another parent from an away game.  If a player's parent is not there to pick them up-they must ride the bus back to Marsteller and be picked up there.

     Prince William County Public Schools supports the need to ensure that its staff, students, and the community are aware of the seriousness of brain injuries and concussions and how they can affect the student’s abilities in the educational setting. In April 2011, the Prince William County School Board adopted a concussion policy that meets the Virginia Code. The law requires parents and students to sign a form attesting that they received training prior to any level of student participation in athletics.

     Sessions will be held on Sept. 7, Nov. 2, Jan. 10, and March 13.  We will begin promptly at 6:30 and please bring a pen.

  All games kick off at 4:45.  They are normally over by 6:00 or so.  We play two thirty minutes halves with an 8 minute half time. 

  If players can not be picked up after away games, we are asking that arrangements be made.  We share the bus with girls' volleyball and they have two teams.  Each team plays the best of 3 series.  There are times, if players have to ride the bus home, that we won't get back until 8 or so.  Our games will end at 6.  If there is any way that your player could get a ride from another player, that would be appreciated by the coaches.  Thank you and we look forward to this season.
